ezclipping is software an operator runs on their own computer. It cuts short vertical clips from stream recordings the operator holds the rights to, and delivers them to that operator's own social accounts for review.
ezclipping is a local tool. It runs on the operator's own machine, using their own storage and their own accounts. There is no hosted service, no shared server, and no account to sign up for.
By installing or running it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not run the software.
You may use ezclipping if you are old enough to hold an account on the platforms you connect to it, and you connect only accounts you own or are authorised to operate.
Only supply recordings you are entitled to clip: your own uploads, footage from a clipping programme that licenses it to you, or material whose creator has given you written permission.
Clips carry an attribution line naming the original creator, and by default a link back to the source. Keep it. It is usually a condition of the licence you are clipping under, and removing it is the fastest way to lose an account.
Nothing is published without a person approving it. Every clip stops in a review queue on the operator's machine and stays there until it is approved by hand.
Where a platform requires an approved application to publish directly, clips are delivered to that account's drafts instead, and a person completes the post in the platform's own app.
Your use of any connected platform is also governed by that platform's own terms. Nothing here overrides them.
The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Automated transcription, moment selection and caption writing are imperfect by nature: they will sometimes mishear a word or misjudge a moment. Review each clip before you publish it.
To the extent the law allows, the author is not liable for lost revenue, removed videos, account penalties, or any other loss arising from use of the software.
You can stop at any time: disconnect the account in that platform's own settings, delete the stored credentials from your machine, and delete the software. Nothing is retained anywhere else, because nothing was sent anywhere else.
If these terms change, the version number and effective date at the top of this page change with them. Continuing to use the software after that counts as accepting the new version.
